Welcome to the New York Mets education and service-learning website. Over the past five years we’ve developed an interesting and useful array of service-learning programs and projects in which our minor league players can participate in the communities in which they play as well as a good deal of important information about educational opportunities so that players can plan for their post-baseball careers. We realize that at this point, baseball is your occupation and that’s as it should be. but looking ahead is always a good thing and experience has taught us that those who are prepared for tomorrow are usually more effective today. So, review this site from time and time and we think you’ll find it both interesting and useful.

In this site you’ll find information about the MLB scholarship program and the tuition-remission programs sponsored by the National Consortium for Academics and Sports. You’ll also find information about the service programs we’ve run in all of our minor league sites. Check them out - you will certainly see some of your teammates and you may even see yourself!
